Ghana Project at the Volta Lake
The project to salvage trees from the bottom of the Volta Lake is the first of its kind in the world. To launch it, CSR Developments has worked with the government of Ghana and the Volta River Authority (VRA) to obtain the rights to extract trees from the submerged forests in the Volta Lake. This agreement has been unanimously ratified by the Ghanaian parliament in 2006.
